Jadipai Waterfall or Jadipai Jhorna is one of the widest water falls in Bangladesh. Jadipai Waterfall is really wonderful place to travel. During the rainy season the flow of Jadipai fall becomes robust. The water of this fall is so cool and transparent. Though the path of this area is not smooth but when a traveler reaches there he will feel the full tranquility.

Location and Map of Jadipai Waterfall, Bandarban

Jadipai Waterfall is located at Ruma upazilla of Bandarban district in Bangladesh. From Keokradong Summit to Jadipai waterfall a traveler will take about one hour walk.

How to travel to Jadipai Waterfall

Travelers should reach to Bandarban if they are interested to have a tour to Jadipai waterfall. There are many bus services among the districts of Bangladesh to reach Bandarban. Here we are giving some approximate fares information to the travelers to travel from Dhaka to Bandarban.

Travel from Dhaka to Bandarban

It may cost around 450/- Taka (BDT) to the travelers if they travel by the bus of S.Alam or Saudia. The travel buses usually start from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am. The bus service providers may offer new schedule as well. It can be around 7-8 hours journey.

Travel from Bandarban to Ruma

The travelers have to make a trip from Bandarban to Ruma upozilla by “Chander Gari” (public jeep) or a private vehicle.

Travel from Ruma to Bogalake

From Ruma Bazar traveler should hire public jeep (Chander Gari) up to Boga lake and It may take Tk. 2000-2500/-(BDT). Before go to Bogalake traveler have to register their name, contact address and other details in the respective security or Army camp and traveler need a guide to reach Jadipai Jhorna. For the first day the guide will charge 600/- Taka (BDT) and for the second day onwards the guide will charge 500/- Taka (BDT) for each day. Traveler should consult with the guide that he wants to go to Jadipai.

Stay at Night in Bogalake

At Bogalake it becomes evening. So traveler need to stay the night at Bogalake area. There are many Tribal villages in the area of Bogalake. Traveler can stay the night and take dinner from here and guide will help the travelers to find a good place.

Visit the desired place, Jadipai Jhorna

The Next day the travelers should start their journey very early. They should start the trip at 7.00am. At first traveler have to go Keokradong. On the way of Keokradong traveler will pass a tribal village known as “Darjiling Para” here he can take rest for half an hour. After reaching Keokradong traveler have a long way to go Jadipai. Now traveler should ready to go desired destination. It will take about 2.5 hours to reach Jadipai from Keokradong. At this way traveler will pass the “Passing Para” and “Jadi Para”. Last 30 minute of this journey is really dangerous. But when traveler reaches to Jadipai he will forget all the anguish because the natural beauty of Jadipai waterfall is really amazing and surprising.
